More Information on A510E Carburetors
This is an Oldsmobile QJet set up for use with an electric choke. They are useful for replacing carbs where the hot air choke system isn't working and especially for replacing computer controlled carbs on 1981-up applications. If you use this to replace a computer carb, you will also need to use a conventional, vacuum advance equipped HEI.
As always, this has new parts throughout, including pump, needle/seat, special thicker airhorn gasket for better sealing, brass float, choke pull off, electric choke thermostat, air valve cam, filter, throttle shaft bushings, fuel inlet fitting, airhorn and throttle body screws etc. The body is chromated as original for corrosion protection. Steel parts are electroplated.
